My Instagram account @isabllcr has been suspended. This is unacceptable.

I have never distributed any inappropriate content on my account, made nasty remarks online or went against the Instagram Community guidelines. I would like to repeat myself - I have NEVER done so.

Earlier, my account was hacked at 12.44am (14 Aug). I lost control of my account to a stranger and all my posts + highlights were deleted. My profile picture, name and bio were also changed.

I tried to log back in but my password and linked email were changed by the hacker as well. Previously my name was isabelle, and it had been changed to Jay Horley. The bio was also altered from my original bio to the above shown. All the posts above are not mine.

All my highlights were deleted as well.

To gain back control of my account, I sent a video request to the Instagram security team and managed to get back control over my account at 8.30am (14 Aug). I reset my password and made the necessary corrections to my account so as to bring it back to the way it was before. However, I realised my account was suspended later at 11.20am. My account was suspended due to an account @photizohand_ that allegedly belongs to me and it did not follow the Instagram rules.

Firstly, this account @photizohand_ does NOT belong to me.

I repeat myself again - it is NOT my account. I had no idea this account even existed in the first place before today. I do not know the email linked to that account, neither do I know the password to that account, hence I am unable to appeal via logging in to the account.

In addition, when I checked my privacy information after the hacking incident this morning, it was only then that I found this foreign account linked to my ACTUAL account @isabllcr. Moreover, that account was logged in at Lagos, Nigeria and I would like to clarify that I literally reside in Singapore and have never even been to Nigeria!

That account is NOT mine. Hence, I have reason to believe that this account @photizohand_ was set up by the hacker and they linked it with my actual account so as to gain control over it.

I believe that hence it is extremely ridiculous and unfair to suspend MY account because of what the hacker did.

I am deeply unhappy with how this situation has been handled by Instagram and I would very much like the Instagram team to look into this incident. Please update me ASAP and get my account un-suspended immediately.

Here are the detailed steps I've taken so far:

1. I initiated the Instagram support process and was directed to the "Identify your account" page, where I entered my primary IG account username, shinigami_gotei_13.

2. After clicking "Next," I was taken to the "Help us confirm you own this account" page, where I chose option A, "Yes, take a selfie video to confirm my account."

3. I then entered my current password on the "Enter a previous password" page, as instructed.

Next, I was asked to "Choose a way to recover your Instagram account" and selected the option to send a 6-digit code to my email, TheresaN40@***.com.

5. After receiving the 6-digit code, I entered it on the next page, but then got stuck at the 2FA login method.

The issue is that I'm unable to complete the 2FA login due to the following reasons:

- I don't have the authenticator app set up, as I never obtained the setup key.

- I can't receive a text message at the linked phone number ending in 7541.

- My backup codes don't work, and I'm unable to generate new ones without being logged in.

To make matters worse, my account was previously logged in on my PC, but it got logged out after the most recent password change. Now, I'm unable to log back in due to the 2FA issue. I don't have any other devices where my account is still logged in, so I'm facing a complete roadblock.

I recently acquired a new phone device called Google Pixel 8a and updated my phone number to 346493****, which is different from my previous number (713505****).

I'd like to request login access to my existing Instagram account on this new device, as it hasn't been linked to my account yet.

However, I'm facing a roadblock at the 2FA login page, which has prevented me from proceeding with the video verification selfie step. Despite selecting the option "the login code was sent to a mobile number or email that I can't access," I'm still being asked to complete the 2FA login.

When I select the "Take a video selfie" option under the account recovery link, a loading issue occurs and persists, preventing me from completing the video selfie verification process. This issue recurs every time I attempt to access the account recovery link and select the "Take a video selfie" option, even after closing out and trying again multiple times.

I request that you assist me in finding a way to bypass the 2FA login or provide an alternative solution to regain access to my account.

I've already confirmed my identity and followed the steps to recover my account, but the 2FA login is blocking my progress.

My account 'zivichluka' was banned permanently because it was hacked a few times ago, and someone used it to write random content, including things against your guidelines. My friend's little sister grabbed his phone and started randomly reporting people.

I can swear that no one was affected by these messages, and those messages were not written by me.

Please help me, it was a big mistake. I am an impactful person in my area, it affects my public relations, impacts my job, and my personal information is there. I spoke with my friend about this; he feels very sorry for the childish action his sister has taken. Please, Instagram, I can say confidently that no one was offended or attacked by these messages, and they were not written by me.

He also contacted you about this technical problem and shared the same story as mine. He will do any necessary verification to show that it was not done by him and that it was a huge mistake.

Hi im back again with the same issue instagram misunderstood my post thinking im selling illegal substances when im not this has happened to me before like more than 4 times already where i get reported for my prescribed pills i get from a terrible car accident i survived, but basically i got reported and taken down again for posting the same thing on my story after I mentioned "#personal use" only and "#not for profit" and i still got taken down I just want my account back because i have all my family and friends there and important messages saved too instagram misunderstood me but i get it, can you please help me get my account unbanned again your the only ones I know who can actually help i always come back here because i know you guys help out a lot and are fast i really appreciate your guys help thank you so much
