Still locked out of my account for no necessary or legitmate reason.
But after logging out of my account via a web browser on my computer, and then eventually logging back into my account the same way, a little bit later on the same day, there was a problem. It was not accepting my password even though I know I had entered the correct password because I just opened this account within the same day and have all my login info accurately documented, keeping a note of every detail. So originally, within the same timeframe, or within a few minutes, I was led through a process of having a verification code texted to my number for use to get back into my account. I was allowed back into my account the first time.
But after changing or resetting my password, as I was prompted to do so, it apparently wasn't being stored in my account, I am presuming. The reason I reached this conclusion is because it was continually not accepting my new password every time I changed or reset it, and this became a recurring cycle. So it would refuse my new password multiple times whenever I was allowed to access my account over and over again to reset my password. It prompted me to have to go through whatever necessary steps or procedures it seemed to require me to do in order to change my password each time after confirming that I am the accountholder.
Then at some point in time within the same hour or so, after the verification code or link was texted to me, I clicked on the link, and it showed me a window that contained a notification saying that I was supposed to have received a code at my phone number, but there was no code, only a link to click on without a code or any other option that would effectively allow me into my account. So it isn't accepting any password I am repeatedly being guided into changing or resetting it to each time, and it's not showing me any verification code when it is texted to me, and instead, rather, simply a link to click on saying that a code was sent to my number when it was not.

I have followed all the rules and guidelines to your guyss absence. I got it when I was 11-12 years old.
I never harmed anybody or made anybody feel uncomfortable. My main concern about my page being deactivated as the memories of my dead loved ones. my Instagram account was working just fine yesterday and the day before and now it logged me out and wont let me log back in saying that my account has been disabled because of the guidelines which I dont believe is correct because I havent messed up any guidelines or anything like that whatsoever I just post my family and friends and my loved ones that passed away and thats my main concern. User's recommendation: Instagram is a very peculiar place, but nonetheless, if you have the right state of mind, you can have so much fun on there and especially when it comes to taking pictures and videos those memories not only would stay in your mind, but will forever be on your profile unless some tragic accident happens whether there was been a big mistake just like in my case but yes, I do refer Instagram to anybody. Just make sure you back up your files. Every chance you get because once a person is gone from this world and all you had was those pictures on your profile it feels like you lost everything all over again, but Instagram is still a great platform and I will still continue to use it if I’m allowed to because I’m still confused on why my page got disabled in the first place.

I'm a real estate agent and use Instagram primarily for work purposes such as brand advertising and ads. On October 26th, my accounts (work and personal) for breaking terms of service.
No further explanation - just like everyone else. Just a horrible AI deactivating without a human checking first. No support, awful system.
I finally got my account back (minus my personal Instagram) come November 26th, a full month after initial deactivation. No reasoning, just back - mostly.
I hardly used my work account after that as I was shellshocked and apparently tiptoeing the line of acceptable content?
I woke up December 15th and my accounts were deactivated again. Every single one. No reasoning, just deactivation. Was hardly even using META services as it's a headache when something like this happens.
It's now been 5 weeks of deactivation with no end in sight... Just patiently waiting while I lose out on business opportunity - with no one to reach out to for help.
I had built up a substantial following and now am afraid I'll have to restart that progress I had made. All former clients, colleagues, etc. It's honestly heartbreaking to have this dictated by an awful AI with human intervention (barely) happening after the fact.
Why not review it with a human before deactivating?
Why have 0 support to reach out to and resolve things quicker? I hope META gets replaced by a company that cares about consumer satisfaction and soon.

That dont listen
So my account had been suspended for clams of sexualization of minors but I had did an appeal and in less than an hour my account was banned not because of the prior accusation but for violating some other guideline. I am extremely confused because I have read the guidelines and believe I have done nothing to violate anything.
I also find it extremely weird that after proven that the original purpose of my suspension was wrong that I was immediately banned not even an hour after my appeal was made. I have had no prior problems or even a warning/strike on my account so please it would be really helpful if I could know specifically and exactly why my account was banned.

User's recommendation: Make sure to keep any and every thing you post, repost, make a story about because at any random moment they will make a false reasoning for your account to be suspended then after you appeal they'll ban you not even 30 minutes after. I received an email at 4:00 in the morning made my appeal at 6:55 and then 7:30 something is already banned but yet there was a full review of my full account that took less than like 30 minutes it's awfully fishy that even though my account had no strikes no prior problems nothing to be shut down over that they found something after the original claim was proven false that they were trying to suspend me for

I recently tried logging back in on my PC (which I had before but had to reset everything due to file corruption), and I ended up getting logged out on my phone now. It's saying that I need 2FA codes, but I never turned on 2FA for this exact reason.
I have been attempting to log in for almost two days now. The sms codes don't get sent to me, even though I have a perfect signal. I got an email code, and that's it. The video selfie says it can't verify my identity, even though my eyes are clearly red like my profile picture, and I have the same tattoo as well.
There are no other viable options, and I really can't lose access to my account, as the majority of my mental health support friends are only contactable by Instagram Messenger. I need live support, not some AI

Yeah it sucks, I'm trying to get my account back too. Instagram has just been going and taking down accounts without giving proper reasons or responding to people when we ask why
Has there been any way to retrieve old accounts? We are going through the same thing, but in my situation, my account was disabled after traveling to a different country, and even after getting back, I have been permanently disabled and unable to create new accounts from any of my devices.
